The year in photos: 2008-2009
The year has been filled with excitement, from concerts, to getting to know leaders on campus, and historical elections.
In Oct., a man sleeping on the sidewalk in downtown Indianapolis brought awareness the homeless living in Indiana.
In Nov., an Illinois senator changed the face of the presidency.
In March, Candace Moseley told us what she was all about with an exclusive interview. The theater department then took center-stage with “Putting it Together.”
In April, the men of Franklin College raced down Dame Mall in pearls, heels and lipstick to participate in the annual Drag Race. Laughter during Lips for Literacy echoed as the Phi Delta Theta fraternity won with their interpretation of The Ting Tings’ “That’s Not My Name.”
Sophomores Aaron Hommell and Chelsi Mobley squared off in the Student Congress presidential election, with Mobley taking the win.
Capture this year’s past moments with the slideshows, The Year in Photos, compiled of The Franklin's staff photographers.
