“Anvil: The Story of Anvil”
If you’ve ever seen “This is Spinal Tap,” it’s time to know the band that was probably the inspiration for it. “Anvil” tells the story of a band who is down on their luck after bad management and song choices. While they might not be much now, in the early ‘80s Anvil played with the likes of Bon Jovi and Whitesnake and inspired many bands after it. The two original founders of the band have continued to be friends while working menial jobs, but both dream of reclaiming their former glory.
Now available on DVD, “Anvil” shows the heartfelt struggle of former rock stars reclaiming their fame.
