Michelle Obama coming to Indy Wednesday
She'll meet working women for economic roundtable
By Staff Report, September 7, 2008
Michelle Obama, wife of Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama, will be in the Indianapolis area on Wednesday to meet working women for a roundtable discussion that will focus on the economy.
The Obama campaign announced the visit Sunday, but did not yet name a location for the visit. The campaign said she would hear working women's stories about juggling their work and family responsibilities amidst a struggling economy, and that she would share Obama-Biden plans to help those women.
Michelle Obama was most recently in Indiana in May, before the Democratic primary, for a similar roundtable in Jeffersonville.
