“When it comes to attraction, the nose knows”
Rose Hansen – OSU Daily Barometer – Oregon State University
What's the most important part of the body when it comes to sex?
The head, of course. (And by head, I mean the one on top of our necks.)
It's where sexual impulse originates. Imagination. Fantasy. Desire. And in the earliest stages of attraction, we generally use sight as the deciding factor.
But the most important sensory organ might actually be the nose. In the past few decades, researchers have demonstrated that when it comes to human behavior, we follow our noses. That's because of pheromones: odorless chemicals our bodies release that trigger biological and behavioral responses in whoever picks up the signal.

“Sexy shop’s spicy products beat economic woes”
Andrea Vasquez – Daily Nebraskan – University of Nebraska

Michael Tarr manages Romantix, which carries lingerie, racy magazines, video, sex toys and accessories. Although the store has felt some impact from the economic downturn, Tarr said Romantix is "on pretty solid ground."
