SEE “Flash of Genius”
It’s a simple story line that is filled with heart. Greg Kinnear stars as Robert Kearns, the maker of the intermittent windshield wiper. The idea of the windshield wiper might not seem like an extraordinary invention, but to Kearns it is, and when it’s stolen by the Ford Motor Company, he decides to take action. He spends the next few decades, and all of his money, fighting against the big company. This story is a true underdog tale that will have audiences raving.
HEAR Jack’s Mannequin, “The Glass Passenger”
After frontman, Andrew McMahon, was diagnosed with leukemia, many fans didn’t know if he was going to be able to, or even want to, sing again. Thankfully, he is back with Jack’s Mannequin and giving audiences an intimate look into what he’s gone through since he was diagnosed. The lyrics are a personal diary into what McMahon has felt and has a backdrop of the classic piano rock audiences have grown to expect from the group. The songs are an honest breath of fresh air that audiences have been needing for quite a while.

READ “Guinness World Records 2009”
It’s the classic that everyone has glanced through while at the library. Known mostly for the pictures instead of the text, the book is not a hard one to look at or concentrate on but used mainly for the intriguing and unusual content. There are the records set by skill, by genetics, and by just pure insanity, and with this edition, the photographs are 100% new and some are even in 3-D (glasses are provided).

2. Increases your hand-eye coordination.
3. Franklin College has two courts in the Spurlock Center which gives students a great opportunity to play.
