Letter to the editor: Thanks to all the fans

To the Editor:

This is a message for the Franklin College community:

The women’s basketball team and coaching staff wish to thank the students, faculty and staff for all their support throughout our season. It was a magical season for us and we appreciate you being a part of our success. Thank you for coming out and supporting us at our home games this season. Our crowds have been awesome.

Also, thanks to those who followed us to our NCAA tournament game at Illinois Wesleyan; you were amazing. Words cannot describe the sensation we felt as we entered the gym and all we saw was a sea of blue- and gold-clad fans cheering for us. The feeling was truly remarkable and you, our fans, have been incredible. We cannot thank you enough for your unwavering support.
