THEY'RE BACK!
You've asked for them, and we couldn't ignore you. Hypes and Gripes are back this year.
If you know somebody or some group deserving of props, or you've spotted an issue you'd like to grouch about, here's the place to do it.
Post your hypes and gripes in the comments section. We'll collect them all and put them up next week!

Combo
Hypes for Saga offering more vegetarian options. The wraps are usually good. Gripes for the dinner vegetarian options... just because it doesn't have meat doesn't mean it tastes good.

Parking
Although I have already experienced the lack of parking that Elsey has, Dietz has even less parking and the spots are so tight that it's hard to get my vehicle in and out of spots. I know I could just drive down the road to spurlock, but lately those spots have been full as well. I think they should join the Elsey and Dietz parking lot in between the soccer field and the Greek circle. This could add a few more spots and maybe open things up a bit so parking isn't quite so tight.

There needs to be more food options on the weekends! Having pizza all weekend is getting really dull and unappetizing! The vegetarian bar should be open on Sundays!

Elsey's Basement Kitchen
It would be great if the kitchenette here at Elsey was actually FUNCTIONAL. I wanted to bake a batch of brownies the other day and was rather dismayed when I found that our oven is broken. Also: boiling spaghetti noodles in the microwave is tedious and messy...

when are they going to redo the ghetto bathrooms in cline? seriously, they're nasty and every other dorm has amazingly, nice, beautiful, spacious, bathrooms with nice big shower stalls and trash cans. they def. need an upgrade.

Gripes
Gripes to the fact that one cannot get a grilled cheese after lunch, and only quesadillas for dinner at the grill. Certainly it's not budget-conscious to restrict the use of two pieces of bread and one piece of cheese? They have to be the cheapest thing to make, so why the time constraint? I'm all for variety, but this is really "cheesy"...

Kudos
As a 1975 journalism graduate of FC, I was thrilled to see this new product...such a great reflection of where communication has taken us and where past, present and future journalists can find a home. Great job, and I look forward to visiting this site often in the coming months.

Big Gripe
Seriously, if you are going to write an opinion column, for God's sake, write a good one. Have we not learned anything for our journalism classes?

Imagine that!
I'm an educated Democrat. Just throwing that out there in case today's paper made you think that we didn't exist. WE DO!!!
